System 4 is a fuel catalyst made from an amalgam of metals uniquely bonded and manufactured in pellet form. It is inserted into the petrol tank through the filler cap or into the fuel line as an in-line version and lasts for 250,000 miles. When applied to hydrocarbon fuels (i.e. petrol of diesel) it has an immediate and long lasting effect. It can be left unused in cars for long periods and can be used with all grades of fuel and upper cylinder lubricants (e.g. Redex)
The System4 cells are manufactured in either a mesh in-tank unit wich can be placed in the fuel tank or the in-line tube type wich should be fitted near to the engine. { please check that your fuel filler pipe doesnt have and obstructions such as bends in it, the in-tank mesh unit should lay in the bottom of the fuel tank. If it is not possible to drop the unit down the filler pipe then you must disconnect the fuel filler pipe at the fuel tank end, then push the in-tank unit into the fuel tank manually}
The tube type in-line unit should be fitted into the fuel line as near to the engine as possible, if it is not possible to fit the in-tank type then the in-line unit should be used. { The in-line unit can be taken off and refitted to an other car if you change your vehicle. Both versions will provide the same level of performance. Once fitted, there is nothing more to do and no maintenance.

THE IN TANK SYSTEM4 UNIT COMES AS A MESH TYPE DEVICE, THIS SHOULD JUST DROP INTO THE FUEL TANK VIA THE FILLER PIPE.
BUT IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT IF YOU HAVE ANY RESTRICTION IN THE FILL PIPE
SUCH AS BENDS OR ANTI-SIPHON DEVICES, YOU SHOULD DISCONNECT THE RUBBER
PIPE AT THE TANK AND PUSH THE IN-TANK SYSTEM4 INTO THE TANK MANUALY.
OR YOU COULD CONSIDER FITTING THE IN-LINE TYPE.

no obstructions in your fuel
filler pipe, such as bends.
IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO RETRIEVE THE IN-TANK SYSTEM4 ONCE DROPPED INTO THE FUEL TANK. IF YOU CHANGE YOUR VEHICLE REGULAR AND WOULD WANT TO KEEP USING THE SAME SYSTEM4 ON YOUR NEW VEHICLE THEN YOU SHOULD CONSIDER THE IN-LINE TYPE.
THE IN LINE SYSTEM4 UNIT COMES AS A TUBE TYPE DESIGNED TO BE FITTED INTO THE FUEL LINE AND SHOULD BE FITTED VERY CLOSE TO THE INJECTORS OR CARBURETTOR. ALL YOU WOULD NEED TO DO, IS TO CUT THE RUBBER FUEL INLET PIPE AND FIT THE SYSTEM4 USING TWO PIPE CLIPS.
